It was all over in less than 2 hours
I was too busy photographing them, by the time I got the neurotoxin out it was all over

Well done capturing those. Like Bryn said, it's not easy, especially when, like with yours and Bryn's, they are scampering around in and out of sight in grass, rather than scurrying around on flat ground (which doesn't make it easy, just not quite as difficult).

We had a nest come out by the back door a couple of days ago, but I was busy with other things and by the time I got round to it it was all over.
