I always enjoy my trips up to Penny Hedge. I love watching nature so a hide with established visitors is worth it for me. It was a cold day so the local wildlife certainly appreciated the easy pickings

Pretty happy. I missed more than I hit but at least I cam away with a few decent shots. The third one was the one I was most looking to take and I wish my positioning was a bit better as it is jumping slightly away from me. A move slightly to the right would have worked better

I have never even seen a Crested Tit so may make the effort to shoot them one day. I have promised myself a trip to teh Tay Reed Beds in teh hope of photographing the Bearded Tits/Reedlings. They are stunning birds and I was going to head there before going to teh Hibs game at the weekend but ended up getting hired for a game at Hamilton so will do it another time

A friend of mine has been there almost every week for the past couple of months and has only spotted 1 bird.
That's wildlife for you
I'm hoping to go down with him sometime - see if I bring him luck
