Photos taken yesterday at the Sweeps Festival in Rochester, Kent, UK. This is a three-day event and the best day is tomorrow when they also have the Sweeps Procession.

I did some work for North Kent Healthcare Trust at Rochester in the middle of the 1990s. I thought the inhabitants seemed a little odd then and those pictures seem to prove I was right!

There's a tog over on ePz I follow, called 'lifesnapper' who lives in Rochester, and he has photographed everything that lives and moves in Rochester. Just waiting for him to upload from this weekend's event.
I must say Rochester does seem a very colourful place to live and to be a photographer!
 
Very nice shots garry, really like the last two in particular. :)
