Very nice and what a colour clash it is. Is this a thomisus crab spider by any chance? I would like to see a red one.

Yes - I see what you mean. It was a devil to get as it kept trying to hide. This is the lowest I got on it, but it is not in such a good leg pose.

I like both, the second most of all. To my eye the second seems to have greater clarity and richness of colour. Perhaps that is the effect of the darker rendition. There seems to be more detail on the legs too. Perhaps the centre of focus was slightly nearer the front, and/or the straight-on view put more into the range of good focus.
