Rutland Water fishing boats

I stopped for a coffee during a beautiful day of cycling near and round Rutland Water, and found these fishermen's boats for hire moored near my table outside the cafe!

And just round the corner form me! Loving the colours and the lead line formed by the boats. The duck is bugging me though - wouldnt he move! ;-)

Very nice Tony. I have some shots of those boats too ;) Did you see anything of the Osprey while you were there?
 
Thanks for the feedback everyone - much appreciated. Dogyyakker - I liked the ducks - they gave me a touch of right side balance. I'd have been happy for a goose or two :). Jo, we didn't cycle round far enough to be where the ospreys are (we'd cycled up to Rutland Water, and the legs can only go so far these days :)), but we did see plenty of the Red Kites that have been reintroduced in the Fineshade Woods area south of the reservoir.

I like this shot but a closer view of the first boat and reflection would have worked better IMHO, just to bring out the detail, though you where there so it's hard to comment on the composition.
 
I also like his alot, I use to go here sometimes flyfishing with my Dad and it looked like this when we arrived early in the morning...good memories.
 
Thanks for the comments everyone. I'd have liked a bit more space to the left of the boats, but a colourful and disorganised pile of work of workmen's gear on the jetty cramped me there. On the other hand if I'd moved more to the left the conveniently placed ducks on the right would have been too close to the right edge. Sometimes you've just got to get on with what's there haven't you :)

Lovely image. Like the composition with the boats leading you one by one into the picture. Colours are lovely too and I like the subtle reflections (y)
