Thanks for the heads up , I just got one from Amazon the sandisk one I was using packed up so that was perfect timing
Amazon did refund me on the sandisk one no problem

I like Sandisk cards - but their drives not so much. Amazon got deals on 1 and 2tb Samsung T7s. Best USB SSDs you can buy according the computer whizz kid IT graduate who lives next door.

Ahh I see thanks didn’t know that they were the best ones
I went for them because I’ve found Samsung stuff to be completely reliable
Was annoyed with the Sandisk drive it failed while I was on a trip luckily I had spares with me

I've got 3 t5s, 5 years old, used quite heavily, still fine. Nothing lasts forever but Samsung are one of the best component suppliers in the world. Never had anything Samsung fail on me either.
