Here is a female scorpion fly I managed to shoot the other day. This one landed in a nice position when scarpering a little far away but still a nice position

Interesting on my approx 5 days looking for wildlife so far in Lancashire, I have seen 1 scorpion fly - the same as I have seen in the south east in many many days. (I know you don't live in Lancashire but you are a lot closer than the South East).

I had the choice of about a dozen in under a square metre at one point on my wander the other day
