I've found for landscape images I get good results using LR. However for images with sharper edges e.g. aviation, I seem to get a better effect with PS using the high pass filter and fiddling with the light effect - a bit old school I know.
As the algorithms move on what are people's current workflow with respect to sharpening for more defined edges please. I know every image is different but any starting values would be appreciated as it might save me having to reinvent the wheel and benefit from this more experienced
