She has finally put in her spring appearance. This is one of my resident spiders in the shed, seen here on a rusty old garden spade.

Great set, excellent :)

:runaway:

I have one in my hide, she is huge, by UK standards. I can hear her on the walls at times and also, she will make forays onto the floor. When I see her, I tap the floor with my foot and she darts back into her lair, in amongst some rolled up roof felt. As long as I know where she is, I can tolerate her but I'm probably not her biggest fan. I'm not sure on spider longevity but if it's the same spider, this will be her 3rd year.

There was a raft spider on Wild Isles last week, I was shocked when David said the females are as big as your palm. No more lying in reed beds, chasing waterfowl for me.

Cracking set Paul, braver than me. (y)

Very nice set of macro/close up captures Paul.

Great set Paul, particularly the up close and personal, last one.
