This is the third of my Small Houses posts, featuring small houses in big landscapes on the Isle of Skye.
This is one of 10 themes I'm working on at the moment for a new book. These themes are keeping me hugely motivated in my photography. They encourage me to go out and find new compositions on deliberate outings, as well as keeping me very observant when I'm randomly out and about with my camera.
All the pictures are black and white, and I'm enjoying photographing in moody, overcast and rainy conditions (which is handy up here!). I often use long exposures to give more mood to the resulting images. Some of my themes are quite "arty" like this one, and some are rather more witty and idiosyncratic. All in all, I'm having a brilliant time with it.
#1 Tokavaig and Dunscaith Castle
#2 Tarskavaig
#3 Camasunary Bay
#4 Also Camasunary Bay
