For some years my preferred cameras for flowers have been APS-C or micro four thirds. For some reason, probably as part of an experiment of some sort I've now forgotten about, in early June I took my Panasonic FZ330 1/2.3" sensor bridge camera for a session in the garden with a mild, +2 diopter Canon 500D close-up lens, to photograph some flowers hand-held using natural light.
All used base ISO 100 and all were underexposed according to the camera metering, from -2/3 to -4/3 stop. I have noted the focal lengths and f-numbers, putting these as full frame equivalents for the benefit of those not familiar with small sensor camera characteristics. (For example, f/16 full frame equivalent is the maximum aperture on this camera, and f/45 equivalent is the minimum aperture.)
The raw files were batch processed in Silkypix followed by image-specific adjustments in Lightroom. There are 1300 pixel high versions in this album at Flickr, where there are some more from that session.
The names of the flowers were provided by my wife (I don't have a clue).
