Yes
I'm hoping to go to Snettisham to coincide with the high tide roost at the end of September. I've read a suggestion that to get a parking space you need to arrive at least 2 hours before high tide (allowing for the walk out). May I ask please for anyone who has been recently if this is the case or can I have an extra 30 mins in bed !

It’s a while since I was there but it is a hike to get to the roost. If it’s peak time you will not be alone, but I’m not sure you get large numbers in September, may be a bit early. Happy to be corrected on that

Many thanks If nothing else will serve as a scouting trip

I've been several times over the last few years and Ive noticed it has become increasingly popular... the last few times it has even been busy for the early morning ones and in the evening the car park will be full well before the time they suggest arriving. There is another car park further down the road close to the beach though, it's not free for RSPB members but the walk is actually easier as it is straight along the sea wall.

The walk is around 30 minutes (depending on how much you are carrying!)

Thanks for that - I'm intending going for an early morning tide
