I managed to get out last Sunday afternoon into the Peak District to shoot some of the snow that had fallen the night before. I was hoping for at least a bit of a sunset but unfortunately it stayed overcast the entire time and then it started snowing, to the point I didn't really dare take my camera out any more! Still had a great afternoon in a beautiful place though! C&C welcome!

1. Most these shots are taken from Burbage south edge looking towards Higger

6. It was snowing hard at this point, but I grabbed my camera to snap a shot of Carl Wark looking towards Higger. If I'd done it again I think I'd angle myself so there was less white on the bottom right of the frame!

7. Walking back towards FoxHouse I missed my bus, so to kill some time as darkness fell I had a go at some light trails!

Great sense for layered compositions here, Billy!

Like the Wlinter-Fortress Carl Wark shot, but hate the title. What's a Wlinter?

I love the composition of the first one, although it would be better with nicer light. I can imagine a sunrise/sunset here being something really special.

The last one is very nicely composed and just screams winter (or a Winter ;)).
