I asked several to "create me an image of bunny chow on Durban beachfront"

This was one of them

The Microsoft one does not know what breyani is, or bunny chow.

Interesting but useless.

Bunny chow is rabbit stew, yes?

e2a: and Miki Breyani was the singer in Lush :)

Of course, what else.
AI is supposed to be able to research terms and words.
I wouldn't expect everyone to know what bunny chow is, but a simple search on any of the search engines would give it in seconds.

TBH, I quite like the result you posted! Might not be what you wanted but I can see all 3 specified terms (although I'm not sure that's Durban beachfront.)

I half guessed that "Bunny Chow" is a South African food but it could also be food for rabbits here. (I love Kounelli Stifado which is Greek rabbit stew!)

I have note eaten rabbit or hare for over 35 Years since moving north from Kent.
It makes a sumptuous rich stew or hotpot or pie, with a gravy made with the giblets. It seems to have vanished from our menus.
Which is sad.

Well, it's not wrong. :D

I guess rabbit stew is not an AI-world delicacy!

What is that filled with.
I take that bunny refers to a bun in dialect.
Curry, chicken, mutton, beef, bean etc.

No, the bunny name came from Banias and Indian caste which the "inventor" was a member of.
That is the best story anyway :)

A take away that needs no styrofoam :)

There are lots of stories about its origin, some true no doubt and some just good stories.
The one certain thing is it originated in Durban.

It was never in a bun, always a loaf, 1/2 or 1/4

Sounds like tasty street food at its best

Yes, SAs version of fish and chips in newspaper :) (not the junk they sell now)

About 12 years ago a colleague of mine tied making it in a pub she ran here.
It sold out almost straight away every time, her biggest problem was buying enough unsliced bread!

It is available in a few places in Birmingham, but I am told by people who have tried it, except one place they have "Westernised" it and it is not special

The photo is one we made at home, you can get unslced bread at Sainsburys, which very strangely they call sandwich bread!
