Lately I have had some weird ' Flecks' in the emulsion of the last few rolls of my 2006 dated KONICA VX40 Super that never used to appear. even though it IS 'outdated but Freezer-Stored' . I have a new batch of Mydoneg Bleach RA type and gave it extra in Fix as well. I took these on a Coach Trip with Kirby's Coaches to St Ives, Cambridgeshire then a 2 hour River Cruise from Bedfordshire with my 'Gift' 1978 Hasselblad 50C/M , 80mm f2.8 C Planar T* and 50mm f4 CFi Distagon T* and A16 back.

I have discovered it must be doing a 'PRE=SOAK' that caused the 'Flecks' Today did the last roll of that batch with NO Pre-Soak but an Acetic Acid Stop Bath before the Bleach and NO FLECKS !

It's good that you have found the cause. I used to worry (only a little) about how fast my freezer film stock was defrosted. I wondered if that could cause any problem.
My film was defrosted by transferring to the fridge as a first stage. Can't say I ever saw a problem however I did it.
