I haven't been doing much photography for a while, almost none in fact. Several days ago I picked up my Panasonic FZ330 bridge camera and went out into the garden to see what I could find. Yesterday I went out into the garden again, this time with my Panasonic G9 hoping to capture some similar shots; I wanted to do (yet another) comparison because I'm (still) undecided which camera is better for my purposes when it comes to invertebrates. Here are some images from yesterday's G9 session, using a Raynox 150/Raynox 250/both Raynoxes on a 45-175 lens, with a Venus Optics KX800 twin flash. The raw files were batch processed in DXO PhotoLab and Silkypix, with image-specific adjustments in Lightroom. There are 1300 pixel high versions in this album at Flickr.

It's amazing how we think nothing of swatting a fly. But when you see one up close you have to admit how fantastic the engineering is.
