All taken in June/July in Assam and Meghalaya. It is the wet season. If you want to escape western tourists, try Meghalaya. We saw none at all, nor in Assam for that matter.

Fungi do colour quite nicely. Flowers use colour to attract insects and animals, perhaps fungi have similar intent?

I love the top one. With a little bit of imagination I can picture a couple of stags, just out of sight in a hollow behind little ferns. Three through six all look so delicate, like a small breeze would break them. Really nice pictures I reckon.
