I have been going through my backlog and have just processed these from a visit to a local nature reserve in May 2015. The images were captured hand-held with an FZ200 small sensor bridge camera and close-up lens (quite possibly a Raynox 150 for all of them) and flash (probably a then recently purchased Venus Optics KX800 twin flash with a first generation DIY diffusion arrangement). All used an aperture equivalent to f/45 on full frame.

The raw files were batch processed in DXO PhotoLab, Silkypix Developer Pro and Lightroom CC, with image-specific adjustments (simply cropping in most cases) in Lightroom.

There are 1400 pixel high versions in this album at Flickr.

#3 This one has motion blur/ghosting, but I thought it was unusual enough to keep anyway.

Thanks both. The snow has gone from here over the past couple of days, so hopefully we can get on with Spring now. The flowers that were in bloom are wrecked (including rather a lot unfortunately on a couple of camellias), but there are already a handful of new ones coming out. No sign of insects yet, apart from one bee I saw crawling around amongst the crocuses.
