I got a Laowa 50mm f/2.8 2X Ultra Macro Lens today I set it up on my Olympus OMD EM1 ii with my STF-8 and tested it on some springtails on my bin and water butt but also on some vegetation but those were one handed.

Here is a heavy crop from a 2:1 shot

Lovely shots there Alf, esp the ones with the Sigma 105

Nice set Alf, love that last one (y)

Very nice what is the last one doing in the first photos?

Thanks David
What is that doing was my question as in hiding or feeding. Frans Janssens said it had Ostrich habits

hmmm better start looking :):):):):)
Damp conditions are best a lot of what I shoot are on my bins or water butt on damp days.
I find them on the underside of some leaves like our Fatsia japonica or laurel hedge.
Sometimes I need to stare for a while to spot the movement

No wonder I can't see'em :D

Not easy to see at all in fact many are only seen through the lens or even in post as they are so small

If you put some wood on top of your butt you might see more.
Some people feel that this looks untidy - you have been warned.
