Sony 100-400 f4.5 G master lens

Are you focus stacking for these?
To be honest I've not been overly impressed with Macro style shots on my 24-105 or 16-35 on A7iii
.. just looked at exif, probably not!
 
Can't imagine 2x TC netting you good results with a slow lens like 100-400mm.

Very nice shots :)

24-105mm has a similar magnification @105mm as 100-400mm does @400mm. The 100-400mm just has a longer working distance but 24-105mm is easier to handhold.

It's probably me compounded by windy weather and poor light.
The odd ones I tried (wildflowers mainly) were OKish but not many keepers.

No focus stack just f8 or f9 :) and a steady hand lol

It's probably me compounded by windy weather and poor light.
The odd ones I tried (wildflowers mainly) were OKish but not many keepers.

Maybe you're doing something wrong- I love this set up :)
