Hi,
just out of curiosity ... Sony wants to switch entire camera either into NTSC or PAL mode by restarting .. Additionally - and it surprises me the most - it wants to format whole SDXC card because NTSC cannot be saved on `PAL formatted' card - which is very surprising for me ... By a chance, anybody knows a little technical detail behind this ?
For example with FUJI camera you can select from menu the video format without any switching (24p, 25p, 30p, 50p, 60p on one pile) .. I've now explicitly tested with my FUJI camera that it can save instantly following formats on same SDXC card without even camera restart
thanks and regards, ~dan
