A lucky grab from today's walk; I'd watched 4-5 of these flitting about for about 15 minutes but they never landed anywhere photogenic. Just as we were about to leave, this one posed perfectly for me. Far from technically perfect, but I'm pleased with it anyway! Thanks for looking.

Thanks Kevin; these were landing fairly often but not hanging about for long. Great fun to watch! As i'm usually looking for birds, I take most of my "macro" with a Tamron 150-600mm G2 which is interesting to say the least, but it does mean you can get shots from a distance without having to take the time to approach the insect before it flies off again.
