The worker is 2.92 mm the larva is 3.96mm

There were lots of deleted shots. I would never ever be able to afford the photos I take with film, with springtail I keep 5%, ichumenon 1%!
 
Good variety David. Fascinating with the ant and larva. Was it moving the larva around? The larva seems almost too big for that to be possible.
Yes I had to move something and accidently damaged the nest and the ants moved the larva around - they can move bigger things that without problems.
