Took a stroll with my family around Porthcawl yesterday. To travel light I took the K3ii with the DA 35mm on it, as well as the cheap Tamron 70-300mm.

Here are some of the images from the shoot, it's a bit image heavy sorry!

Took a series of images from this location and the owner (I think) came over telling me I was breaking the law. I told her I wasn't as the pavement I was on was classed as a footpath and therefore public property. She was having none of it and after I had repeated the law and taking an image from the location I was at meant no law was broken. She then changes tune and said she was fine with me taking a pic of the shop but without the staff in it and kept saying I was breaking the law for taking images of her staff! Seems she didn't want her staff being photographed and she wanted to see the images. I didn't have too but to keep the peace as my wife and kids are with me and my wife hates confrontation I showed her the images I had taken as well as others taken to that point to re-enforce that I'm shooting street images. She wanted the 2 images that had her in them deleted so again to keep the peace I do so knowing full well that the camera is shooting to 2 memories cards simultaneously and they're still on memory card 2 in the camera!

8, 9 & 14 for me ... area looks a bit bleak and windswept! :)

PS. We now have a new 'Street' Forum :)

love love love 9, 11 & 14 - great set and well done for keeping your cool and standing your ground when speaking to the snack bar owner

Thanks Stewart.
Didn't think till someone on FB pointed it out to me that he had a cheek to have a pop at me for 'breaking the law' when she's called her business Sinatra's with an image of the big man himself!
