Sunset over the Eastern Lakes

The bright patch in the centre is just too bright. It ruins the scene IMO. Try reduce it a bit in Photoshop. The FG is too dark I think too. Nicely composed though and has the makings of a great shot!
 
The bright central area doesn't bother me,that's just the way it is sometimes.Actually it's the light area at the top that keeps pulling my eye up to it and away from the main interest in the image.For that reason I'd crop to a panorama format removing it altogether,that's just my taste though.Nice shot though,very evocative,and I love the dry stone walls weaving across the frame
 
Thanks for the comments. Thought I'd pour a glass of wine and have a wee tweak in PP. Friday night as well - sad really! Anyhoo - this is about all it's going to get - anymore and it starts to look horrible. I was trying to get the rays and a bit of the mist around the hills. As always, these things never look quite the same when uploaded.
