Spotted this little fella the other day so scooped him up and took a few snaps, he was surprisingly cooperative

Superb. I found a big evil looking bugger in the house the other night; just scooped him up in a cup and threw him outside. Should maybe have trapped him and took some pics. I like spiders, but I think this was a False Widow and they can give you a bit of a nip. Don't fancy having a hitherto unknown allergic reaction to summat right now...

You cant tell from the pictures AZ6 but this little fella was tiny

Very nicely shot it is not that small I suspect (2mm is small) it is posssibly Philidromus dispar

Great ID Alf, he was small, 2mm' ish (possibly 3mm) would be about right. The green stalk he's sprawled all over in shot 2 is one of those small twirly bits off of a Passion flower that I teased him onto
