The Darkroom - Cheltenham

As I have moved area I can't use my local developing lab more, and this is the nearest one.

I was wondering if you can walking in a drop off film here or do you have to use the Freepost thing? I couldn't find any where online saying about this so I was wondering if anyone knew anything

Hi Matt,

You can walk in and drop a film off with The Darkroom and it's very likely to be ready to pick up that same day (depending upon drop off time) - I use them for 35mm, 120 and 5x4 and they've been fab tbh. They're really helpful and know their stuff thoroughly!(as you'd hope!)

Oh, they don't open on a Saturday or Sunday (I'm sure it's on their website but just a heads up!)

That means I can't be film done till Tuesday. I guess I'll just have to go along and see if they are open or not............hopefully!

Did you ask about dropping in film at the weekend? I've used their postbox - it is secure and quite handy for out of hours. Shame they're not open at the weekend: Mon - Fri 8.00 - 5.30 according to the website

I'm Oxford based but I have relatives in Cheltenham so I sometimes drop film in.

O right. I've just dropped in a film and gone home for a little bit, then going out in a bit to collect it Good job I have a car!!

I must say the guys in there are soo nice. Had a good little chat about film and developing, very helpful and they know what they are doing!!
