I have been watching these dippers for a few weeks so guestimated they were due for leaving the nest any day? Even though the weather was shall we say not ideal it better than the rain all day it given tomorrow, so a early visit was in order
The light was pretty dire and it a big ask to get sharp images at 1/100 or so at 850mm for the shots on the rock and only 1/250 for the feeding shots (600mm F4 + 1.4TC) so I had to lay in the dirt to try and get the lens at least a bit more stable
Dam you spring weather I moving florida !
