It's that time of the year again and the Froghoppers (AKA Spittlebugs) are back (they are early) ....

These were about 2mm long so zoooooom in :naughty:

The adult is a champion jumper and is able to leap 70cm into the air - a greater feat than the flea can achieve
and equivalent to a human jumping over a tower block evidently :oops: :$

Cool video too.

Nothing here yet, they usually colonise the lavender hedge once that starts to flower though.
