It's that time of the year again and the Froghoppers (AKA Spittlebugs) are back (they are early) ....
Two dinky nymph's going walkabout from their 'cuckoo-spit' home
These were about 2mm long so zoooooom in

The adult is a champion jumper and is able to leap 70cm into the air - a greater feat than the flea can achieve
and equivalent to a human jumping over a tower block evidently
