Wild Thirsty Young Lynx

This youngster seemingly came out of nowhere. She was stalking a partridge and appeared unexpectedly in front of me. I had a prime lens on and didn't have time to change so this was full-frame. I'm looking forward to visiting them again next year with some guests.

@Stuart Philpott Like many cats, the adults are not very shy. I have been to within a few meters of them in wide open spaces. The youngsters/cubs on the other hand are much more wary, for good reasons since they are not fully aware of who's friend or foe, nor are they able to defend themselves.
