I fly over to London twice a year for 4 days at a time to meet up with 7 other photographer friends who live in the UK, and it has become a bit of a tradition. Started in 2022 after Covid restrictions were lifted.

I'd love to get involved in meet ups - I didn't realise that was a thing that's been organised through the forum in the past. I tend to find I only get out and about with the camera on family trips and the odd day out with my regular photography buddies (it's only occasionally that everything aligns these days with everyone being so busy). More options to meet up would really be welcomed :D

To get something going I have found that it is best if a handful of people agree a definite date/time and location and then invite others.
 
It was such an epic trip. Highlands, think this was the first of 2 / 3 we did but I can't he 100% sure.

In the past I've done a few TP meets, Gloucester Barn Owl Centre, Bempton Cliffs & National Memorial Arboretum come to mind ... sadly a few who were present are no longer with us. :(
 
I enjoyed many Skomer and Skokholm trips setup on here but, a lot of people I met are no longer active on here. some great memories though.
