Bug "This site can’t be reached"

Keep getting connection faults to TP today (only TP), e.g.
That URL is missing a / between co.uk and whats-new but I'm guessing that is not the problem you are reporting. No one else has reported problems today as far as I am aware. What browser and ISP?

The Domain Name "talkphotography.couk" has to be looked up on a domain name server to find the IP address to which talkphotography.couk points.
"DNS address could not be found" suggests to me that either your computer can't find the DNS server or the DNS server has no record for talkphotography.couk which seems unlikely as it has been unchanged for years. Either way there is little we can do about that, probably a glitch in the matrix ;)

I've had a Ubuntu pge several times today
Is that the Apache.... Page. I had that on safari on my iPhone as I had TP it as a favourite. Looking at the link it was missing the 's' in the Https.

Yes, Apache 2 Ubuntu default page.

This was using a Firefox bookmark which hasn't given any trouble before. However, inspection shows it was missing the "s" of https. Working fine now, thanks Kev!

A few people have had that, http should redirect to https automatically and it does for me but it seems not for some people.

Happened again earlier this afternoon using the browser link I always use (https) and 'Sitechecker' reported the site was down for everyone.

Thanks for the report, however no one else has reported an issue AFAIK. We had a report a few days ago from someone using the Brave browser, I wonder if DuckDuckGo could be part of the issue?

Dropping my 2c in - happened to me earlier on. Must've been about 1620BST

Editor to add: I didn't report simply because I've been experimenting with a new DNS architecture locally. I wanted to rule that out first. Plus it's on the internet & the internet can suffer from these thing periodically due to things outside both the control of both viewer & publisher (some intermediate like Cloudflare, Akamai, Level3, Cogent etc)

Why would ‘Sitechecker’ report the site as being down for everyone?
