Tickled...

The clematis is not properly twined across the fence (Bilbo the kitten chases flies and such into it and that has made the shrub fall) and today I tried to lift it up a bit, closer to where it should be, but it wouldn't stay up - too heavy.

Went back in the house and felt something tickling my skin.

This is the best I could manage, twisting my arm into positions in front of the camera and trying to get it in focus - and it turned out to be a tiny 2mm bark fly walking through the hairs!

Nice shots Paul, 1st is the best for me, I would of liked to have seen it off centre though.

I would have had to disengage my whole arm to do that pre- Photoshop lol....

Thanks Neil

Nice work Paul I have been shooting them but not on me.
I did have a horse fly landing on me the other day which I was not happy to shoot when on my skin.

Only the females bite I think it is Alf - but like you a horsefly is not welcome on the skin! This bug is far more manageable, lol..
