Here a couple of sunset from the last day of July on the west cost of Cumbria so typically we had masses of clouds ad rough seas.

Good ones. I think the second one would really pop with a longer exposure

Thanks Lakad I did consider a long expsoure but the clouds were moving acsoss the scene

Top draw Alf! I kept dragging my browser just above rocks in RHS in #1 also works for me, and light fantastic in #2 just a shame about that gap in centre, hightlights, ps away from camera I can see why you visit so often great place to be, thanks for sharing

I used a 3 stop hard edge grad to balance the exposure

I did consider the crop you mention on #1 I have always enjoyed being on a beach I played on a similiar beach all the time as a kid a few miles south of here a short walk from home (even with the 200 ft drop to sea level)
