looking to supplement my D7500 with a extra body , fancy full frame but not sure which ?
im on a budget so will have to be a second hand model from the 7xx range or 800 /810 or
get a lighter Z body judging by prices Z5 or Z6 might at a push Z6ii
also a 70-200 mm but know idea which to go for Tamron /Sigma / Nikon f2.8 or f4 think ive read to many reviews & puddled myself
mostly aviation with wildlife/nature thrown in with family stuff
just want a reasonable body that pretty good on focus tracking & a sharp lens
i appreciate the Z bodies will have a black out but ive been using a XT-30 + 70-300 last couple years & still manged a decent hit rate

thanks in advance for your thoughts good or bad

I have had both the Nikon D800 and the D810. The D810 using the same lens and settings produces a sharper picture. Now changed over to Panasonic four thirds gear due to the weight of FF lenses. Have to mention both of those are good cameras but showing their age compared with what is available now and dont have focus tracking.
Now have the Panasonic G9 and G9ii and what a difference from what I used to have. Being a loyal Nikon used since the D70s days leaving the mark and all the lenses i had came as a bit of a shock but now so glad I did. Not just because they are relatively newer but picture quality is so much better and have all the features I could possibly need

I'd suggest D780, similar generation so it won't be a huge stretch to jump from D7500 to D780 and vice versa. D800/D810 slightly older AF modules so might not be so great at wildlife/air shows as you might expect, and the D780 has a hybrid AF from the Z6 (or something along those lines).
