Hi all

I am based in West London and want to get out in the car in the next couple of weekends so was looking for some decent landscape options.

Obviously not many mountains nearby but rolling hills or something like that would be ideal but any suggestions welcome as can always plan other trips.

I am initially thinking the Chilterns or South Downs but don't really know either of them that well...

Thanks

Hi Andrew, when I lived in Ealing, I used to drive down the M40 to junction 6, turn left onto the B4009 and take the first turning on the left (about 200metres along) onto Hill road. Drive down there until you come to a small crossroad (can't miss it) Park up there and go either left, right or straight ahead, plenty of good scenery. I personally used to either walk up the hill ahead, or turn right and walk along part of the Ridgeway. Have a look at Google maps. Hope this helps.:)
