Lightpainted bowl - 1st attempt at Lightpainting

Do these "work" or not? Playing around with new tripod & I can't decide whether I like them.

Not a bad first start I think that you should have tried to get a lower PoV try and get nice angle on it and also a little more space around it but I love some of the different colours that you've got in here

Something doesnt quite work with this for me but the colours as mentioned above are fantastic.

Thanks for the advice Matt - gave it a try this evening, but haven't yet found a good angle + I need to get a bigger black background to get more space.

Haven't given up yet!

I bought a large piece of black card from hobby craft under £3.00 about 3' x 2'

That what I use too I've figured that if I put it in my hob at home it works as a small infinity wall and it has a white side too

I also bought the white one as it was pure white, the other side of my black board was off white.
