Hello.
I took this picture in Scotland in 2008 & wondered if anyone knows where abouts on the Loch it is as I would like to go back there and see if the boat is still there?

It's near Fort Augustus, can't remember exactly where.
 
I don't know where it is, but it looks as if the trees are on a small island (it could be a headland but it looks more like an island) and there are very few island in Loch Ness. A possibility is that the island is Cherry/Murdoch's Island close to Fort Augustus. The OS map marks it as a crannog and the island in the shot has the look of a crannog.

RIR. I clicked on www. & there it was, "Cherry Island" the pic of the boat in the pic was taken in 2008 too, same time as I took mine, I can see a trip to Scotland on the cards LOL but I may try & find out if its still there first LOL.
