weekly BobBCN's 52 for 2024 (WEEK 49 added)

WEEK 47 - ANCIENT

So there's this factory which dates back to the end of the 19th century and is where Anis del Mono is made. It's basically an aniseed liqueur. It would be called Monkey Aniseed I guess. This stautue was comissioned in 2012 and is just in front of the factory. It's a monkey, of course, but with Darwin's face. Curious to say the least. Apparently one of the brothers who founded the company was given a monkey as a present and this led to the name, and there's also the idea that the brothers believed that their liqueur was the "most evolved" compared to others. On the labels of the bottles the monkey is also holding a kind of certificate which says "It's the best, Science says so". Anyways, there you go.....

WEEK 48 - NUMBERS

So this is the town hall, done up to look like an advent calendar. It's a bad photo, I know, but you get the idea..........
How to avoid the blown bits whilst at the same time avoiding a too dark image? Hmmmm??

That works. As for the technical question, HDR is your friend there.

Yep nice one. Two shots and mix them.

Lekky insulators - nice for the theme :)

Insulators, great for the theme. We used to have some as paperweights/ ornaments when I was a kid, no idea where my dad got them from.
