Hmmmm it probably shouldn't but the fact that No1 is not very sharp bothers me.

No2 is better - but I've cloned out the litter. Still - it's the better of the two :)
 
Yes, the colour in No1 wins it, but the subject in No2 is great and I think the litter and detritus adds to the context.
