Cheers DavePiggy back Lady birds is a very nice shot Chris.
Liking your images for alive.
Cheers PeteInteresting image for alive Chris, how long will it take to be how you want it.
I have no idea why I took this up, I'm an impatient buggerI like Bonsai trees, but they take too long
Thanks Bee and I guess its more "a chip off the old block"Is it a Frankenstein of a plant? Nicely lit and as always, I enjoy the back story to these.
Gotta admit I struggled with that one too.I agree smooth is a much tougher theme than rough was.
[emoji23][emoji23] you should have gone for it. Women can’t pull off smooth dressing like men can.I did think about me in a Tux.
But decided I'll save that for a scary type theme![]()
Meh, not so sure, but then again, men can't do "glamorous"Women can’t pull off smooth dressing like men can.
Thanks IanReally think the dark background works well to stand your subject out for Alive.
Not a subject I'd choose mainly because I'd have to wait for "Dead" for me to do it as I have whatever the opposite of green fingers are.
Cheers SimonLike the Alive shot. Something almost primeval about it...
Thanks LeeGreat shot for Smooth. Super sharp and vivid.
Nice one for Alive too. I like the contrasty look and the tree certainly looks alive with buds.
Cheers AllanBoth good images for the theme, interesting Bonsai image with the zippo surprised at how small it is
Smooth
Can't get that song title out of my head now!!
Thanks StuartAlive
The scale shot with the lighter really does show how diminutive the bonsai is
Great fun aren't they? what do you have?Nice choice in the tiny bonsai, we have quite a few, we really like them.
Cheers Dom.Smooth
Great close up and colours. They look like they're having a good time.
Alive
I do like the bonsai shots, I find them quite fascinating.
Great fun aren't they? what do you have?
They are so versatile aren't they?Chinese elm, one I bought OH for his birthday over twenty years ago and that looks very good, it’s kept a really nice shape
Cheers DaveJust love seeing H in your shots Chris, two great images.
Thanks MarkCracking picture..
Harry has been making an appearance from time to time, since last year.Nice idea the one without the idiot minion
Its not actually a Triptych its a single image.I also like the original triptych but the minion did make me smile. Great idea!
But then it wouldn't show what happens when an egg hatchesI like that a lot, but it messes with my OCD... I'd have had to have the unhatched egg in the centre.
Thanks SusiePerfect for the theme, I like the triptych idea it tells a story, your minion made me smile![]()
Cheers Martin, I flippantly call it torturing trees, in realityAlive: I like the pictures and I like bonsai trees but the anthropomorphist in me thinks it's rather cruel;
The hard part was getting it back in the egg to get the shotsEaster: Is that a real chick hatching?
I'm glad that most people seem to appreciate the humouryour 2nd shot made me chuckle.
I think you need to boil your eggs a bit longer.
Cheers PeteGreat shot, lots of detail, good colour and the black black background adds a bit of pop to the image.
