Never seen anyone use it to be honest, and I'm amazed the handset is stilll in one piece.Wow, they still have payphones? The only local one to me I can think of was converted to a mini library. Great fit for unkempt though and mono is spot on.
Thanks Helen, good to see you getting back in the game.Nice urban monochrome. Some of the background looks rather unkempt too.
Great take for Gob Shot and a stunning Snapper's.
Thanks folks, very much appreciated.Great idea for the gobshot. Love the snappers... you're really captured the concentration.
Now there's an idea, or "GOB 1" as a fake number plateNice candid pic for Snapper's, mono suits it very well. If only you'd photoshopped an O between the G and the B on that registration plate...
Thanks buddyTwo great shots Keith. Nice take on the gobshot theme.
Very good - the sunglasses make all the difference. Your idea, or were they just there?
Thanks chaps, the sunglasses were already there and I wanted the shot for that reason.A bit eerie with those glasses. Discarded or lost on or near a park bench?
I also had a bench shot in mind but I couldn't settle on either the angle or the pov.
Now you mention the face, I can see what you mean. The sunglasses do make the shot. Good pov to make it almost look like a face (with a stretch of the imagination )
TBH I never thought of the theme at the time, it just occurred to me during editing.I think I need some better glasses than the ones I wear, I walk past empty benches every day and did not click with the theme, well spotted.
Thanks RyanEmpty is spot on and the glasses are a great touch although I only noticed them after reading the comments.
Good shot - the lady makes it.
Thanks gentsAs Dave said + good viewpoint.
Yes absolutely, it's about chest/head height when you stand next to it.Impressive structure, the viewpoint with the lady make it look bigger than actual?
Well done to the Mrs, right place right timeAs mentioned, the person adds to the shot very well.
Yes, that works well.
Thanks chaps. I would like to go back with a better camera and try this one again during the summer.^^^^^ that
Thanks KeithWorks well, good contrast against the back ground
Thanks HelenNice one... works well with the misty background.
Track from the farm machinery Bob, there was another from the other wheel but the single track came out better.Interesting capture. It looks like an intentional break in the green, but is it a path, or what?
Thanks Simon, it's on my way home from my Monday work trips. I plan to revisit and try more as the crops grow. That is a great picture for the theme I like how the field just drops away over the crest.
