Thanks Pete, the last one is my personal favouriteA lovely set Bill and I think you've chosen my favourite one for the theme. It works nicely in black & white and the person sat up there adds another element.
I do like the composition of the last shot too.
LOL, thanks Paul, you wouldn't believe how many shots of that hut (gazebo?) that I took over the course of a week...A cracking set. I especially like the seascape.
Thanks AdamSome lovely images here and the chosen one really is great (IMO) and I love the B&W chosen for it.
Thank you AllanReally like the lifeguard station a good set overall.
Yeah, I looked at both the b&w and a couple of different colour versions and the b&w just stood out for meNice slant using mono for this one Bill.
Thanks Keith, it was fun playing around with handheld long exposure. The IBIS in my Oly is awesome. That is a 1 second exposure.Very nice set Bill, another vote for the sea scape here though especially like the colours in the sea and the waves with the long exposure
Thanks Shug!Yeah that is a lovely shot. Nicely done and nice location for it too!
Thank you Stan.An excellent set of images you have taken there, Bill. I love all the long exposure shots with the beautiful water texture.
Thanks Allan, it's kind of my jam...I got hooked on the techniques after discovering Pep Ventosa...I love the combined shots, an interesting approach it works well on the station and graffiti.
I'll look that up thanksThanks Allan, it's kind of my jam...I got hooked on the techniques after discovering Pep Ventosa...
Thanks Shug!I really like your chosen shot - really effective for the theme!
Thanks Pete, I thought the same thing. I've probably walked past that alley dozens of times but that street art is new and that colours just grabbed me.A lovely set Bill. On your chosen shot I like the way the "movement" seems to increase from right to left.
I like the bike shot a lot too.
Yeah, I was walking up the street looking at the marks on the street (I think that they are markings for upcoming roadwork) and they all pulled my eye up to the rea hand.A great set - love the red hand shot.
Thanks Simon, isn't that what we all do? Grab a moment in time...I love all of your shots and it is nice to see so many different pictures of a city that I've never been to, it really captures a moment in time.
Thanks Alan, yeah, I like how both turned out.At first I assumed it was ICM but interesting to see the effect from combining photos.
I am also drawn to the "red W" picture
Thanks Simon, I started taking multiple exposure shots of the Skytrain a couple of years ago at different stations but I'm thinking of expanding it into a full-fledged project. I've gotten some images that I really like.Good shots Bill. I think I'm drawn to the last shot as my personal favourite.
Thanks Keith, I'm always looking for subjects to practice my ME on.Good set. W and the train probably best for me.
Thank you Ross, I appreciate the kind words.Apologies, first time visitng your thread, some amazing pictures! Love your minamilist first grafitti shot and all the morning light shots are very dream-like and postcard worthy! And I really like the bold colour and movement of the Woolworths sign against the brutal architecture. Awesome shots!
Cool. Let me know if you'd like to know how I combine them in PSLove the train shot. I must give this technique a spin!!
Thanks Kell. It’s an interesting take on the graffiti scene. Really works well and gives it a bit of extra dynamism.
