This was a retirement gift, presented to my wife's grandpa in 1961 from the North Thames Gas Board in recognition of 40 years valued service in the industry. It's in use for Christmas every year.

Sometimes opportunity for a shot just happens, like the tool on the street, made for the theme right there. The tailors door is always open, rarely shut in the winter, a real old school establishment.

Our original ‘proper’ station closed many years ago and the blue lamp disappeared as well. This office used to be a shop and is rarely open!
