I bought a very cheap TTArtisan 50mm f2 (£80 
) but the minimum focus distance is quite long so I bought a 43-67mm step up ring to allow me to use my close up filters and I think it works well. This was taken with my No.4 close up filter. It looks just about perfect for flower / detail pictures when out and about.

From a clump of (I believe) Wood Anenome from the middle of a local meadow. I was surprised to see them as I've only ever seen them in woodland before

It's in a warm sheltered corner, it's a strange year this year, some plants are behind yet others have finished, our Bleeding Hearts were in full flower in the frost and snow, now just green.
