Fuji Dave's TP 52 2023 WEEK 52 Favourite image from 2023

Yep - rubbish bin and rubbish basket! Well seen scene :)

The bike does not look that old, pump the tyres up and it will have be fine, basket should be in the bin, well spotted Dave.

Catch up on comments. I'm really enjoying your mono images, particularly the irregular shot. Love the ivy on the bike!

Fab take on the theme Dave and a nice mono!

Brilliant idea for the theme Dave. Well taken shot. It really is amazing how capable phones are when used well.

The sound image really stands out, I love it, you've got the perfect depth of field and it suits mono. Just one question.... are the drops actually rain? I wondered whether you had sprayed water onto the glass, perhaps with a bit of glycerin, I only ask as there are no streaks or runs and the windows on the other houses all look dry. As I said I love the picture I'm just curious. :D

Thanks Nicky, yes it is rain as it totally chucked it down here.

It's a holly blue, the small blue butterfly usually seen in gardens. B&W treatment is a bit unusual but I think it works.

Nice Flutty Dave - always one of the first blues I see.

Think i like the colour there. Loses the lovely blue in the conversion to B&W in my opinion.

Nice shot Dave, I lean towards your shot of choice as it brings out the patterns and textures in the butterfly and the leaf.

I have been thinking for quite a while now and have decided that most of my images now will be taking with either my phone or the GR 3, as I have put my X-S10 and two lenses away now and don't intend to use them anymore at all. This will now be a whole new chapter for me, and I look forward to getting right into it.
