Broken Vase and B&W tech. This was a present for Em but delivery company decided fragile means we can drop at your door and leave.. Still at least it came in handy

Cheers I used 2 off camera speedlights pointing up and bouncing the light off some light grey fabric.

Nobody has done it so....

In Full flower macro lens out again.. I admit this style isn't to every ones taste, but hope you like it
Twin flash used, black back ground then added extra contast to the black area in C1 to remove the back ground texture.

Nice bright colour, and great detail on the hairy bits (stamen???) as well as keeping the outline of the petals sharp.

I was scratching my head on the 2 purple petals, till i googled pansies and realised that its how they are!

Cheers Graham, f16 at 1:1 just covered the flower head. They come in many patterns and can look a little odd

Thank you Gents, I just couldn't get the results I wanted from the colours, I think the light reflected to harshly for the shot, I'll have to practice a bit more...
