weekly HelenC's 52 for 2024. Week 35: Snappers Choice

Ooooh that light :)

Lovely light on the scene

That's dramatic ! Really nicely captured

Great light Helen.

Ooooh that light :)

A very dramatic scene the colours are amazing!

Another stunning landscape. Great light on them trees!!

Very nice light and great clouds

Love that gold light catching the single cloud.
Thanks all... I felt like a real storm chaser that day... thunderclaps and torrential rain.

Beautiful lighting and as others have said you've captured the dramatis skies amazingly

Arches - the light projecting (is projecting the right work?) onto the stonework at the bottom really makes this
Weather - very dramatic, lots of lovely contrast and that bright cloud in the middle couldn't be better placed if you paid it

Okay, so macro isn't my speciality by a long shot but I rather liked the colour and fluffiness of the bee... and box ticked... Heavily cropped and processed.

That has a nice feel to it. I think the square crop suits it very well.

Nicely done - they're hard to capture, Colour on the flower enhances the shot.

Week 23: Vegetable

Bit short on time this week and the most horrendous weather to boot. Most crops around here are cereals so little on the veggy front apart from a couple of fields newly planted... not sure what as still very small seedlings but defiinitely of the vegetable variety. Not very exciting but great clouds here.

Apologies... I've fallen a bit behind in the last couple of weeks. I got rather too involved in our local Country Fair than I intended. All done now and, barring a plane crash, all went really well! Catch up for Snappers and Minimalist tech... got a walk in yesterday with an Australian Kelpie.. if it hadn't been for his Dingo ears we may have lost him in the barley.
I'll try and get caught before Thursday... both pics and comments.

That works for me!

You might have missed the link from the main page - or I just didn't see it.

Yep - poochtastic :)

Snapper's choice made me smile, like the decay shot and processing suits the theme. Good abstract

Lovely decay shot Helen.
I like the abstract shot too, although I may have been tempted to crop out the track lines and just have the barley.

Very Abstract.

Decay is very good, well found, unless its in your back garden :D

Great subject and composition for decay.

Great shot for decay, and a nice natural abstract shot.

Thanks for dropping in and taking the time to comment.
@seaodyssey Thankfully not my garden although I have a constant bramble battle going on! It's outside a decaying cottage which was once the laundry for the local Hall.

Love that Helen :)

Nice Helen- lovely contrast between the sky and the barley/oats, with a lovely wavy leading line

Wheat is a lovely colour and great lines, you have some nice fields down there Helen :)
