At least you tried I admire you for that, the some people don't even tryNope, Im going to admit defeat on this one. Its not a style Im very good at, clearly, and I tried a load more shots tonight, but they look just as crap as the above.
Think I'll admit defeat on this one and move on....
Tried playing around in LR bit couldnt get the look I was after, cheersI can see where you were wanting to go with this. For me it's not quite there, it needs a little more punch. I see you were at iso 1000 and f36? According to flickr. If correct I would shoot at something in the mid range, f8-f11. Going for a very contrasty b+w pp would work I think
Thanks ChrisHmm, I admire your intent and effort but I'm not convinced, sorry.
See above comment Tim,,,,You could give it more contrast by crushing the black and raising the whites in levels perhaps?
True enough, thanksIt's always good to try something different, sometime it works, sometimes it doesn't.
Without trying there would be no progress.
Thanks AllanAt least you tried I admire you for that, the some people don't even try
Fiddle away Susie, be good if you could make it how I wanted ....Hi Mark .. you sound like me ....take number *!?*!? I can never just do one
I actually love this idea ...it's just up my street and I'd love to have a fiddle with it, I agree with Tim, a bit more adjustment on the contrast and I think it's a real eye catcher.
I wanted the shadows to add an extra contrast layer, its close, but no cigar for me.hitchcocky lighting
Lovely curves Mark. The track, the kerb and the grass cut pattern but I'm trying to figure out the slope; I can see the two guys on the level and there must be a hill through the curves, but the buildings have totally confused me and is the horizon straight or are the trees on a slope too
'Twas always going to be a motorsport shot this week, wasn't it
Like the Marshalls, like the curves, don't like the tilt (sorry). Maybe more of a dutch angle would have worked?
@Dave70D bang on, well done......
I wanted to keep the Marshalls as interest.....
I still adore the sinous curves of this section of the track.
The top Motopg riders tip into the top curve at around 160 mph !!!!!!!
@Kodiak Qc , the track isnt that dark in reality and you still have the fencing in......
Thanks all, heres the original pic, welcome to have a play....
