One of my local gig shots, our local bar had open mic nights once a month and this young guy used to come in and play Gipsy / flamenco guitar. he always got totally lost in his music and seemed so surprised when he stopped playing and everyone applauded, it was so much like he had forgotten there was anyone there. In the bar. lousy lighting and background so took it to portrait level instead of gig shot - hope you like it ( he did )

Walking back home the other night I saw the sun streaming through this gate at the British Library and took a shot with my iPhone.

The irony being that I did actually have my 5D in my bag, but i was carrying that, another lens, a gimble for my phone and two tripods. I'd been on my feet all day and was trying to catch a train. In hindsght, I wished I'd done it as the highlights have completely blown on the phone.

I live in a total paradise and work in Hell ( Hell maybe a little over the top but it is getting there) This is one of the local girls she is really nice and totally confident , I'm guessing as a result of living in such a nice place ( everyone here is really nice) 1940's weekend hence the outfit, a short break in the chaos at our local !

Severn Valley? Love that line but avoid it whenever the 40s weekend is on. As amazing as all the effort is, it’s too busy for a grump like me. I’ve been tempted to try and photograph it though, I just never got round to it. Used to live 2 minutes from one of the stations.
